NJ Newborn Session | Scarlett

If you visit my North Jersey Newborn Photography Studio you will see Scarlett is all over my walls. I loved this session so much! This was the first big family in my brand new studio outside my Lincoln Park, NJ basement! I was so excited to finally have the space to offer a more comfortable setting for my clients!

To my surprise, Kathryn found me on Instagram (I am no social media expert at all) and we connected immediately over the phone. We talked about soft pinks and neutral colors and how much she wanted a family and a sibling portrait. She knew toddlers might be a challenge but I reassured her it would be fine. Toddlers are high energy and they usually need a little time to get used to somebody new and that is OK. I have all the patience in the world! Look at this big smile!

I wanted to incorporate some flowers and nature to a few of her setups and they turned out so beautiful!

For the family portrait it took a little bit of Photoshop magic but the final image was just perfect. I know how important these memories are for all my clients and I take this task very seriously. As a mom that has no professional pictures with my twins as newborns, I know how it feels to miss that small window chance. It happens to fast and nobody should be missing on those precious memories!
