We understand how sensitive a baby is during the first few weeks of life, and safety and health are our primary concern. The ideal time to photograph your baby is between 5 to 10 days old. This age range is when newborns are still “curly” and sleepy enough to be posed in the ways you see in our portfolio.
Babies older than 2 weeks begin to stretch out their limbs and are more sensitive to having their arms and legs adjusted in a pose. They wake up more easily, easier, and things like baby acne, colic, tummy upset, and flakey skin begin to emerge the longer a newborn is out the womb.
We suggest to book your session at least 3 months before your due date, as we only book a limited number of sessions per month. Last minute bookings might not be always available and we wouldn’t want you to miss out on these important memories. In-home lifestyle sessions are also available.
