Being able to get to know each other and meet prior to the actual photo shoot allows us to build a comfortable relationship. It’s not just about discussing details, but about truly getting to know the person and their personality. With Katie, there was an instant connection, and we knew the whole experience was going to be a fun one!
Sometimes clients don’t think they will like a certain style or outfit and then they completely change their mind after trying it on in the design consult, which takes place in our Lincoln Park studio. Katie was initially against wearing a crown in any of her photos but once she tried it on during the actual session, she loved it & she owned it! This is where the magic truly starts, and we just love the energy it brings when someone is feeling their best!
Don’t over think it…
It really comes through the lens when you see that someone is relaxed, ready and feeling radiant. It’s not always natural or easy for clients to be in a studio setting, but once you find your groove, it all just flows perfectly! We want each and every client to feel and look their best when they come to us, which is also why we include complimentary make-up for the session. Katie was feeling confident & comfortable and with each look, she just shined! She truly delivered for us that day, all before she actually delivered her beautiful baby boy!
